Leopard attacks Buddhist Monk in Namsai

 

NAMSAI, FEB 28: A Buddhist monk from Jyotipur-I village under Diyun Circle was attacked by a leopard this morning at APST station in Namsai. The leopard attacked him when he was on way to relieving himself in a nearby washroom, injuring him on his head.

 

The injured  Buddhist monk was admitted to a hospital in Dibrugarh after first aid.

 

According to a video clip, the leopard also entered into a shop. People residing on this shop complex has closed the gate but leopard trying to enter through ventilation. According to source, the leopard left 3 people injuries.
