DIYUN, NOV 17: Today, approximately 3085 claimants of Diyun IB, Avoipur & Dumpani, Jyotsnapur & Rajnagar and Dumpather & Udoipur were heard starting from 7 O’clock this morning. The hearing process went on peacefully except an unfortunate incident in the afternoon.
The chaos happened during Dumpather’s hearing, the problem occurred when ADC refused to hear the 183 claims which were filled up by APCSU activist on 24th October upon complaint made by the Dumpather BLO, J.K Singh that the forms were submitted in bulk and two villagers forced him to receive the forms.
APCSU activist requested and pursuade ADC to do the hearing while the enraged public created chaos and finally ADC agreed to hear the 183 claimants. Later, it was learnt that the whole confusion and misunderstanding was created due to some dirty village politics.
This was also for the first time that about 40 claimants under Mudakka Nala and Aranyapur were heard in electoral summary revision courtesy efforts of APCSU. APCSU had helped about 40 claimants under Mudakka Nala and Aranyapur to file their application online.
Only time will tell us the fate of the claimants. The updation of database, merging of photographs, updating the Control Tables and preparation and printing of supplementary list will be done by 20th December, 2014 and the final publication of Electoral Rolls, 2014 will done on 5th January, 2015.
