CM Pema launches free 'cashless hospitalisation' for poor

 

26/07/19, Itanagar: Chief Minister Pema Khandu today launched Free 'cashless hospitalisation scheme for poor and vulnerable families with coverage of up to Rs 5 lakh per family per year on 'assurance mode'. It also aims to make the health scheme a hassle free so that people do not face hurdles in benefitting from this scheme.

He said "I am pleased to inform that the erstwhile Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Universal Health Insurance Scheme (CMUHIS), now revised and restructured as the ChiefMinister Arogya Arunachal Yojana (CMAAY), made as per the state cabinet decision of 30th January 2018, has been launched today on pilot basis".

Any identified person from poor and deprived families can avail the scheme by enrolling themselves in the web portal of Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Society ie www.cmaay.com. The scheme has been converged with the centre's health scheme ie Ayushman Bharat - National Health Protection Scheme (AB-NHPS) and will be implemented using CMAAY IT platform.
