APPSC exam questions copied from Pakistan controversy: Prelims Exam cancelled, afresh exams to be conduct

ITANAGAR, DEC 15: The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has cancelled it prelims exam which was held on November 26 and announced to conduct afresh exam. In its last prelims, APPSC were copied more than half the questions from, a resource site for Pakistani civil services examinations. Several students’ bodies, NGOs, social activists, educationalists were raised their voice against such criminal offence of APPSC. 

In a released APPSC said that the students who were appeared in its last prelims examination shall be eligible to sit it in afresh examination within a reasonable time on the basis of their admit card which are already issued them.

This is not the first time that the APPSC is embroiled in a controversy. In 2015, allegations of a question paper leak led to the dismissal of four officials of the commission.

Furthermore, there is a case against APPSC is pending in court which was filed by aggrieved Chakma candidates after arbitrary deletion of their names from the list of candidates to appear for the preliminary round. The honourable Guwahati High court has already directed the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) to keep a post vacant for Chakma candidates
